Mastering MedTech Mastering MedTech
Melita Ball

Melita Ball

CEO & Founder · MBCA Consulting

Medtech & B2B
The outcome
Inbound booked on her calendar, weekly
Before

Melita Ball had run MBCA Consulting for nearly 20 years: a profitable regulatory compliance firm serving medical device companies worldwide. But the business was invisible. No marketing presence. No inbound leads. And a new SaaS EQMS platform on the horizon that would need funding and attention.

She’d spent enormous money on marketing firms that all failed: one was a glorified assistant, a cold-email company promised 12,000 contacts a month and delivered nothing. She was deeply skeptical: “Honestly, in my mind, I’m like, I’m probably gonna be firing them in a week.”

What we built

Future Media launched Mastering MedTech through PodcastOS: strategy, run-of-show development, recording coordination, post-production, video clips, social trailers, and distribution.

The Audience outreach system connected Melita with ideal guests, collaborators, and business opportunities on LinkedIn, running 24/7 with messaging that felt personal, not automated.

After

Within months, the podcast went from priority #3 to #1. Her board of directors called the engagement “the best deal on the planet.” The run-of-show documents were so well-researched she never made a single change across 12+ episodes.

The Audience system changed the business. Melita wakes up to new Calendly bookings from qualified guests and potential partners, all booking themselves. One connection led to a possible SaaS integration partnership. The podcast now informs both her consulting growth and her funding strategy.

I've never had an experience where somebody actually delivered on what they promised. My board of directors said, 'This is the best deal on the planet.'

Douglas Mark

Douglas Mark

President · LearningZen

B2B · Franchise Training
The outcome
More qualified calls than he can handle
Before

Doug Mark runs LearningZen, an online training platform for franchisors. He was already comfortable on camera: doing a solo recorded show, creating one asset, and posting it to YouTube. Zero traction.

He’d tried paid campaigns, even old-school mailers. Nothing broke through. His core challenge: LearningZen targets a very niche audience, franchise operations officers and training directors, and he couldn’t get in front of them at scale.

What we built

Future Media rebuilt the show from the ground up: new format, new strategy, professional production. PodcastOS handled run-of-show documents, guest research, recording coordination, editing, and multi-platform distribution, putting the podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts (two places Doug didn’t have it before) plus YouTube.

Each episode became multiple assets: trailers, clips, and full episodes. The Audience outreach system launched targeted campaigns aimed at franchise operations and training leaders.

After
The campaigns hit with 90–93% targeting accuracy: almost every booking was a chief operations officer or training director at a franchise brand. One campaign alone generated 15+ qualified calls. Run-of-show documents saved hours of prep per episode, and Doug stayed an expert in franchise training while Future Media ran everything around him.
We booked more qualified appointments than I can even handle right now. If this was all I did full time, I would need an assistant.

Christy Lawrence

Christy Lawrence

COO · CultureWorks

B2B · Executive Coaching & Training
The outcome
The right people now reach out to her
Before

Chester Elton and Adrian Gostick are bestselling authors and thought leaders in workplace culture, the “Carrot Guys.” Their COO, Christy Lawrence, managed everything: the calendar, the stages, and the podcast, doing the entire show from start to finish on her own.

She grew the podcast about 30% by herself, then hit a ceiling. The real problem wasn’t production effort, it was guest quality. PR agencies kept pitching the wrong people, and in a time crunch Christy would slot in misfit guests just to fill the calendar. The content suffered.

What we built

Future Media rebranded and relaunched the show as the CultureWorks Podcast: broader topic, sharper positioning. PodcastOS took over run-of-show, production, and distribution.

The Audience outreach system was built to target the right message matches: executives and HR leaders who would genuinely benefit from meeting Chester and Adrian, and vice versa. Christy’s role shifted from doing everything to doing the parts she’s best at: promoting the show and managing relationships.

After

The outreach system flipped the dynamic. Instead of chasing guests, guests started reaching out to Christy and booking time on her calendar to be on the show. She connected with 20+ qualified message matches, with very few no-shows and very few mismatches.

The show became a pipeline for Chester and Adrian’s executive coaching and workshop business, with every guest conversation a potential client relationship.

It's magical. People are reaching out to me. I've had 20+ qualified booked calls this month just from the system.

Anthony Pompliano

Founder & Host · The Pomp Podcast

Finance & Crypto
The outcome
One of the largest independent financial media platforms
Before

Anthony Pompliano was building a name in finance and crypto, but his audience was scattered across social posts and short-form content. There was no central media platform tying his perspective together.

The finance podcast space was crowded with institutional voices, and independent creators struggled to match their production quality or audience reach.

What we built

Future Media developed and executed a video-first podcast strategy for The Pomp Podcast: a deliberate bet on YouTube and video distribution at a time when most finance shows were still audio-only.

Production was built for multi-platform output from day one: full-length video episodes, short-form clips, and audio distribution running in parallel. The strategy prioritized making Pompliano’s long-form conversations visible, shareable, and searchable.

After

The Pomp Podcast became one of the largest independent financial media platforms in the space. The video-first approach drove massive growth on YouTube and turned long-form interviews into a distribution engine: feeding clips to social channels, attracting high-profile guests, and building a subscriber base that rivals institutional media.

It positioned Pompliano as one of the most recognized independent voices in finance, and proved video-first wasn’t just a format preference, but a growth multiplier.

We've gone video first thanks to you and the system. Big thanks from us.

Health & Wellness
The outcome
Top 10 & Top 100 · pioneered the biohacking podcast category
Before
Dave Asprey had a growing reputation in biohacking but no structured audio platform to match his authority. Health and wellness podcasting was still early: the category had no dominant voice, and most shows were hobbyist productions without the quality or strategic backbone to build a mass audience.
What we built

Future Media helped develop Bulletproof Radio from the ground up: production, positioning, and a publishing system designed for scale. The show was built to own the health optimization category, not just participate in it.

Consistent production, high-profile guest booking, and a format engineered for both depth and accessibility turned a founder’s expertise into a media property. This same approach now powers PodcastOS.

After

Bulletproof Radio reached Top 10 and Top 100 rankings and became one of the defining shows in health and wellness podcasting. It pioneered the biohacking podcast category, establishing a template dozens of subsequent health shows followed.

The show became the primary audience-building channel for the Bulletproof brand, directly supporting product launches, book sales, and a loyal global community.

I can say very confidently that we own the biohacking vertical.

Joe Polish

Joe Polish

Founder · Genius Network

Business & High-Ticket Consulting
The outcome
Podcast became a high-ticket driver for the $25K+ membership
Before

Joe Polish had already built Genius Network into one of the most respected high-level business communities in the country, with members paying $25K+ annually. But the podcast wasn’t pulling its weight. It existed as a content channel, not a revenue driver.

The opportunity was there: a built-in audience of high-net-worth business owners and a founder with genuine expertise. The missing piece was strategic architecture connecting the show to the business model.

What we built

Future Media rebuilt the podcast as a direct extension of the Genius Network sales engine. Production was designed to showcase the caliber of conversations happening inside the community, giving prospective members a window into the network’s value.

Guest strategy, episode framing, and distribution were all aligned to one outcome: driving qualified leads toward the $25K+ membership.

After

The Genius Network podcast became a high-ticket sales driver, directly contributing to brand growth and membership acquisition. The show positioned Joe Polish’s conversations as proof of the community’s quality, turning listeners into applicants.

Rather than chasing download volume, the show focused on audience quality and conversion, proving a podcast doesn’t need millions of listeners to generate serious revenue.

The Genius Network podcast is a massive part of the community.
The Lincoln Project

The Lincoln Project

The Lincoln Project

Political Media & Advocacy
The outcome
Debuted #7 globally · 10M+ downloads in the 2020 election
Before

The Lincoln Project needed to break through the trust barrier. The core challenge: how do you reach undecided voters and people who voted for Donald Trump in the last election?

They needed a way to build trust with an audience traditional political media wasn’t reaching.

What we built

Ike was brought in to develop a podcasting strategy that could achieve what traditional political content couldn’t. Instead of pattern-interrupting content or factually questionable information, Future Media focused on truth and storytelling.

The approach: NPR-style storytelling that built the very thing dying in today’s media environment: trust. The show told the stories of real people reconsidering their views. Ike’s music and storytelling background brought narrative craft to political media.

After

The Lincoln Project podcast debuted at #7 globally and accumulated 10M+ downloads during the 2020 election.

The show proved that trust-first, story-driven content could reach a national audience at scale, and that production quality and narrative craft could cut through a media environment built on outrage.
